LEAGUE & REGISTRATION UPDATE

As we all try and navigate these most difficult times, we are wishing you all safety and hope that you and your families stay healthy and safe until this crisis ends. We are closely monitoring the situation and continue to have conversations with the OCYFL, Orange County and New York State to do what we can to have a football and cheer season this fall.

The MVYFL board has been continuing to have virtual meetings during this time to ensure our league is ready to move forward if things allow us to do so. Youth football and cheer are part of stage 4 of the reopening plans set forth by our Governor. With this being said, we want to let you know our plan as of now. MVYFL will continue to follow up with local and state officials to stay updated on our regions plan and make decisions to the best of our ability based on all of the regional and state requirements. At this time, we are going to hold off registration for fall 2020 until we have a better idea of whether or not we will be allowed to play. Due to this, the registration will be for a shorter time period but will be available to you all online again as it was last year when we do open and we plan on offering in person registration with dates to be determined, if we are allowed to do so. We will send out updates and information as we get it to make sure we provide you with as much information as we can in a timely fashion.
